Pre-op

She is so cute. Watching her leave pre-op was so hard. I'm so glad we were able to be there with her. As she left pre-op without us being able to with her I just felt my heart drop. I will never forget her looking back add she left. I am glad I'm a way she didn't have her glasses on and couldn't see the years starting to come from my eyes. After the nurse called to let us know she was in surgery and they were keeping her warm the tears still kept coming.  Once we were in the waiting room waiting for her to be finished it started getting easier waiting for it to be completed. They finally came to let us know surgery was completed. We talked to the surgeon and everything went well. Only an hour or so in recovery. It was 3 o'clock. We had been in the waiting room since 9am. Once 5o'clock came around, volunteers answering phones went home, and we were one of the families left in the waiting room we got anxious. We ended up calling the hospital to find out how we get in touch with recovery the nurse came out. Shelby had some trouble with pain afterwards and they kept her to get it under control. She had been taken up to her room.
